Supply Manager (6 month contract)

Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Supply Manager, are to:


  • Work closely with global supply chain colleagues to ensure supply of tri-angulated products with strategies in accordance with days of supply, service level, and obsolescence targets
  • Assume full responsibility for the supply of locally-sourced products, including monitoring of inventory levels in accordance with targets, creating and maintaining a strong partnership with third party vendors
  • Optimize total cost of supply- creation of third party purchase orders factoring end-to-end cost implications on volume commitment
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the timely release of products to maintain service level targets
  • Proactively monitor potential lost sales in the short, medium and long term, take action to mitigate potential risk, and document actions on sharepoint for RoiPE tracking
  • Key role in the NPD process, leading the creation of Global codes for new products and displays
  • Responsible for monitoring of all product obsolescence risk in the short, medium, and long term, and engaging all cross-functional stakeholders to bring awareness to risk, along with development of mitigation strategy
  • Responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of all local re-packing, including development of strong working relationship with third party tollers, development of monthly production plan, and transactional SAP responsibilities that ensure the right base stock is sent to tollers in the right quantities with the right dating, as well as validation of display data upon completion of tolling job
  • Drive the monthly S&OP cycle, reporting KPI results for key metrics (including days of supply, FG value, service level), along with reason coding and root cause analysis to drive corrective and preventive actions in the spirit of continuous improvement

Who you are

  • University degree in Business Administration with focus on Supply Chain/Logistics or University degree in Scientific area (e.g. Engineering, Chemistry)
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Sales and / or on production sites
  • Good business acumen
  • Lateral leadership and change management skills
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
