Medical Scientific Liaison - W. H. - Montreal (12 month Contract)

Your tasks and responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role, Medical Science Liaison – Women’s Health, are to:

  • Identify, establish, and foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and be recognized regionally as a medical and scientific therapy area specialist
  • Develop and execute clear individualized and society stakeholder plans including those for AOGQ
  • Develop and maintain regional medical affairs strategy
  • Critically appraise new scientific evidence, including different study designs and results
  • Engage with KOLs in the exchange and dissemination, of evidence-based data in an unbiased manner
  • Share field intelligence and competitor information with internal stakeholders and help to create actionable plans
  • Support investigator sponsored studies by fielding and assessing research requests, and ensuring investigator interests are aligned with Bayer’s research needs
  • Manage the roll-out of new scientific trainings and educational programs to Women’s Health Account Specialists  in Quebec
  • Maintain core competencies and expertise in women’s health.  Review therapeutic area articles and publications, attend conferences/meetings
  • Maybe involved in national Women’s Health projects
  • Territory and main responsibility will be in Quebec

Who you are

  • MD, PhD, PharmD or MSc with relevant industry experience
  • 2 years industry experience
  • Experience in women’s health desirable
  • Business acumen and understanding of business strategy
  • Strong listening, communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong spoken and written French language skills
  • Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams and influence appropriate plans and action
