Marketing Manager

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Lead the Brand Planning process, in partnership with cross functional partners, form development to execution – to include all Xarelto indications, and in time incorporating new launches as well
  • Partner with the marketing team, cross-functional partners and other key internal and external stakeholders to ensure plans and projects are on track to achieve brand objectives
  • Identify and understand market forces that impact the brand in order to develop and execute strategies
  • Act as strategic lead for the brand, in order to influence senior management around strategy
  • Effectively communicate and garner support for strategies and investments to senior management
  • Identify, build and maintain strong relationships with Thought Leaders, focusing on Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons and Internal Medicine Specialists
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with regional and global marketing colleagues to represent and integrate local needs into global marketing/brand strategies
  • Lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of different cross-functional teams

 

Who you are

  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, previous cardiovascular experience is an asset
  • Must have a track record of successful pharma/biotech marketing with an understanding of expense budget planning and tracking
  • Strategic mindset - Strong business acumen, analytical skills and understanding of business strategy to prioritize team goals and activities with short and long-term planning
  • High drive for results - Bias for action with high sense of urgency
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and complexity
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and coach a high performing cross-functional team
  • Able to develop good relationships with Thought Leaders
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management with the appropriate level of knowledge and experience to actively influence key decision-making at all levels e.g. CAN leadership team, Global key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with experience presenting at senior management level
  • Bilingual (French) is an additional asset
